KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dobies Health Marketing, a strategy-first health marketing, branding and advertising firm, has appointed Angie Leondedis as its new Vice President, Client Services.
In her new role, Angie plans, manages and directs strategic marketing initiatives and provides excellent service for our clients that adheres to the firm’s strategy-first approach. She cultivates partnership-level relationships to support company business development and is responsible for onboarding new accounts to ensure long-term growth and client retention.
“Angie’s years of expertise and leadership in the hospital and health industry make her an excellent fit to lead our clients’ marketing strategies for healthier brands,” says CEO Carol Dobies. “She has a strong history of devising and implementing new programs that support client objectives.”
Angie has more than 30 years’ experience as a strategic communications and marketing leader in hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, associations, physician and surgical practices, and health-related nonprofits. She has been recognized for talents in strategy development and translating corporate vision into tactical reality.

Angie spent nearly eight years as Vice President, Communications, for Children’s Hospital Association, in Lenexa, Kan., and Washington, D.C., and operated a successful consulting practice. She spent 16 years in Chicago, where she held leadership positions at the American Hospital Association, Chicago Osteopathic Health System and Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation. She received a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications/Public Relations with a minor in Journalism at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
In keeping with our firm’s mission of community involvement and giving back, Angie volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the foster care system. She serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties, and serves on the Executive Board of RJ Children’s Haven.
